Attention Parents and Families: Columbia Borough School District is CLOSED tomorrow, Friday August 30 and Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day holiday. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at regular time. Have a wonderful weekend with your children!

Park Elementary Parents/Caregivers: Join us for Back-to-School Night tomorrow evening, beginning with Kindergarten at 6 pm. 1st grade will meet at 6:25, followed by 2nd at 6:50, 3rd at 7:15 and 4th at 7:40. Talk with specials in the gym- Art, music, instruments, camp, and more

Parents- Students who are not fully immunized will need to have their immunizations completed by Friday August 23,2019. Students who are not fully immunized by Friday risk being excluded from school. A letter and/or a phone call has been made to those families affected. Child Protect- Through Lancaster General Health will offer a free clinic here in town on Thursday August 22, 2019.The location is: 306 North Seventh Street, Columbia Pa. 17512 The available hours for this clinic are 2:30-6:00pm. Students in Eleventh (11) and Sixth (6) grades are required by the State to have a physical exam for this school year. Students in Third (3) and Seventh (7) grades are required to have a dental exam for this school year. Students in Kindergarten(K) are required to have BOTH a dental and physical exam for this school year. Forms can be picked up in each school building. If you have any questions please call your child’s School Nurse

PARK SCHOOL NOTICE: Sixth Street between Locust and Cherry Streets will be CLOSED to ALL traffic from 2:30 to 3:30 pm daily when school is in session. Park Elementary Students will dismiss on Sixth Street in front of building. Cherry St by Park is Bus Parking ONLY.

For the Safety of Park Elementary School Students: Columbia Police Department, in cooperation with the school district, will close Sixth Street between Locust and Cherry Streets from 2:30 to 3:30 pm to ALL vehicle traffic. Students from Park will be dismissed on Sixth Street in front of the school building. The closure will occur daily when school is in session. School Begins Monday, August 19, 2019

Incoming Park Elementary Kindergarten students and their families are invited to a sneak-peek tour on Friday, Aug.16 from 10 am-12 noon. This drop-in format offers students and families the opportunity to locate their classrooms and take a look around prior to the first day.
