Food Bundles are today at Park (Cherry Street Entrance) and Taylor. 9 am for Friday's meals and 2:45 - 3:15 for Monday and Tuesday's meal.

The school district is shifting to remote learning on Friday (11.20.2020), Monday (11.23.2020), and Tuesday (11.24.2020). We will re-evaluate next week and will be in contact with all stakeholders by the end of the week.

Friday (11/20) breakfast and lunch will be available at Park (Cherry Street Entrance) and Taylor at 9 am. Meal Bundles for Monday (11/23) & Tuesday (11/24) will be available at the normal scheduled time Friday (11/20) 2:45 pm – 3:15 pm.

Good afternoon Parents and Caregivers of CBSD This is Dr. Gregg McGough Interim Superintendent. The District’s Public Health Team was just made aware of a COVID 19 case from the community and through contact tracing it will impact teachers and students at all three buildings. At this time, the schools will not be properly staffed. The district is taking two(2) decisive actions. 1. On Thursday November 19th, the school district is calling for an early dismissal for students at 1PM. The school nurses at each of the three(3) buildings will communicate with those teachers and students who are considered a “direct contact.” The school nurse will contact either you or your student if he or she came into direct contact. 2. The school district is shifting to remote learning on Friday (11.20.2020), Monday (11.23.2020), and Tuesday (11.24.2020). We will re-evaluate next week and will be in contact with all stakeholders by the end of the week. The district administration appreciates your patience and understanding in dealing with this recent incident. If this rapid shift presents a hardship for you or your family today, please contact the principal and your student can remain with us until the end of the scheduled school day. Fresh Express is happening this Friday, November 20th. You must register by calling 717-864-1497. Pickup is at a different location! Pick up is from 3:30 to 5pm at Salem United Church of Christ, 324 Walnut Street, Columbia. Please bring a photo ID and proof of address.

Advanced Reminder: Typically on a Tuesday we would be hosting Cohort A in school, BUT for Tuesday, November 24th, Cohort B will report to School and Cohort A will be online. This change is due to the holiday. This change is only for November 24th.

Attention Park Elementary Families, The CBSD has made the decision to move to remote learning for students at PARK ELEMENTARY beginning Friday (November 13, 2020). All other schools report as usual. Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health has partnered with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Columbia Borough School District, Columbia Life Network, Community Action Partnership and Hunger-Free Lancaster County to bring Fresh Express, a mobile food pantry filled with fresh produce and healthy food options, to Columbia, Pennsylvania.
