Online Course Requests

Hi everyone! Ms. Jones and Mr. Mundy here – we hope you’re all safe, healthy, and taking care of yourself (mentally and physically) while we’re out of school for this strange period of time.

Because we aren’t in school right now, we have to shift things to do course requests online. For those of you who have done these with us in the past (we bring everyone to the LGI and work in PowerSchool), the process will be exactly the same but we’re having you do it at home instead of in the building.

Down below, you’ll see a video as well as written instructions based on the grade that you’ll be going into next year. Use this video and instruction sheet to work through selecting which courses you’d like to take next year. Each grade will get a specific day to select courses and then we will both have time set aside to meet with students the following week to answer any questions you might have about the process or to help you with selecting classes.

The schedule for course requests will be as follows:

• Current 11^th Grade Students: Tuesday, April 14
• Current 10^th Grade Students: Wednesday, April 15
• Current 9^th Grade Students: Thursday, April 16
• Current 8^th Grade Students: Friday, April 17

YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO REQUEST COURSES DURING YOUR SCHEDULED TIME - UTILIZE THIS SO YOU GET THE COURSES YOU WANT

We will be available April 20-24 to assist students with questions/adjustments to requests – schedule a meeting with your counselor at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0C48ADA72AA0F94-scheduling and we’ll email you a Zoom link (TO YOUR STUDENT EMAIL) that will allow you to get into your meeting when the day/time comes around.
